60th National Pharmacy Week Celebrations at Innovative College of Pharmacy started with Oral presentations followed by T-shirt painting. There was a very active participation by the students on the Theme : Pharmacists : Integral part of healthcare.After the completion of all the activities, Final year student Nazim khan shared his ideas and experiences as a pharmacy student at Innovative college. Dr. Titiksha, Director & Board member and Dr.Joanofarc,Principal (Pharmacy) congratulated all the winners of various activities during the three days of celebrations and hoped that the students will keep up their passion for the profession of pharmacy and enthusiastically involve in many more such future programmes. At the end, an excellent and educative seminar on the topic “The Importance of Pharmacovigilance” was delivered by Dr. Kalai Selvan,Principal Scientific Office, Indian Pharmacopoeia Commision, Ghaziabad He was the chief guest of the day. After the valedictory function , the students were taken for a 2-3 hour visit to the three day Medical and Pharma Trade show held at Expo India close to the college between 24th – 26th November 2021, organised by CPh ICPh & P-MEC India. The Trade Expo focuses on business, leadership, knowledge, innovation recognition, networking and many more oppurtunities in the field of pharma with over 40.000 pharma professionals from 120+ countries participating in it. The student enjoyed the visit and gained useful information at the Trade expo. The day ended on a positive note.
25th November 2021, the second day of the ongoing National Pharmacy Week celebrations at Innovative College of Pharmacy, started with an encouraging note delivered by Dr. Titiksha to the students. She motivated the students to participate in the day’s function whole heartedly. This was followed by a seminar by the guest speaker Mr. Hemant Chamoli, Associate Manager, Eli Lily, an alumnus of our college, who enlightened the students about how a pharmacist plays a very important role in the healthcare system. The session concluded with question and answer round in which the students participated eagerly and were very interactive. Various activities like Pharma quiz, poster presentation and best out of waste were also organized. Many students participated with a great zeal. After this, the Principal Dr. J Joanofarc addressed the students and appreciated them for their excellent participation. The day ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Amarjeet Singh
The national Pharmacy Week is being celebrated all over India from 21st November - 27th November on the Theme : “Pharmacists : Intergral part of Healthcare”.
Innovative college of Pharmacy, Greater Noida celebrated the first day of Three day National Pharmacy week celebrations organised at our campus today, 24th November 2021. The event unfolded with the lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana. Sri S.L Nasa, Registrar Delhi Pharmacy Council (Retd) graced the Occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. K. R Sharma, our honourable chairman sir, the board members Dr, Titiksha and Mrs Usha and Dr.J Joanofarc, Principal (Pharmacy) were also present. During the first session , Dr. Joanofarc welcomed the new students for the session 2021-2022 and encouraged the students to participate in the event with full enthusiasm. Shri S.L Nasa motivated the students by his inspirational speech on the importance of a pharmacist in the healthcare system, especially in the current scenario of Coviid’19. Dr. Titiksha also cheered up the students to participate in more such events to be more aware and gain knowledge about their profession. Later during the afternoon session, Shri S.L Nasa gave a deep insight into the “Careers in Pharmacy. The students were greatly benefited by his lecture.Thereafter certificates were distributed by the chief guest and our respected Principal mam for their achievements in various events and activities held in the college during the current semester. The first year students were also distributed study material kits on this occasion. Finally Shri S.L Nasa was presented with a bouquet and a lush green sapling.The proceeding of the event made the day a great success.
