This year “Pharmacist Day” was celebrated on 25th Sept, 2016 as notified by Pharmacy Council of India. In this regard, Innovative College of Pharmacy organized debate, quiz, poster presentation and other extra curricular activities on two successive days. The themes of all the events were related to the role of pharmacist in the health care team. During debate competition, the topic was “Effect of banned drugs on pharmaceutical market of India”. The debate was intensely deliberated by the students divided into two groups viz. one group was in the favor of banning the drugs and other group against it. Ultimately, four best students (2 from each group) were selected for the prizes. In the quiz program 6 groups consisting of three students each participated in questionnaires based on various pharma MCQ’s based topics. In this event top three teams were awarded for their performance.
